In order to protect the public, ARCH is working with the Department of Health and is committed to the development of voluntary regulation with national standards of training and accreditation for naturopathic colon hydrotherapy. All members of ARCH are required to practice within strict codes of professional conduct and must ensure adequate public liability insurance and regularly update their practice.

These organisations will only accept members that have either been medically trained or have gained a high level qualification in anatomy and physiology combined with considerable experience in a body based therapy.
ARCH and Guild members facilities are inspected prior to joining and periodically thereafter. All three organisations work to a strict codes of conduct and are committed to continual training in order that their members remain knowledgeable in the field of Colonics and in related subjects.
